Many of Beltwood's homes are historic structures with heart pine floors or oak floors, and other great historic features.
The fireplaces you find in these homes are all made for burning coal, not wood. But that doesn't really matter, because the chimney and fireboxes are not suitable for a fire today.
Chimneys are blocked to prevent drafts, which includes the draft from even a small fire.
For your safety in your lease you will acknowledge that you won't have any fires in the fireplaces.
But they are nice features, and lots of people enjoy seeing what creative ways they can decorate them.
Oh. And those pine floors. That is like kindling. Fat wood. You don't want any flame anywhere near them.
