Things that affect your Credit Score

Did you know that on-time rent payments can improve your credit score?  In the past, only negative rental data such as evictions and collections were reported to consumer reporting agencies. But with us
your on-time payments get reported, and that is a big boost to your credit score.

We believe that renters should get credit for managing the payments for the place they call home. That’s why we participate with Experian RentBureau to include positive rental payment data in Experian credit reports.  This will help you get good marks on your credit score for making rent payments on time.

The addition of positive rental payment data in Experian credit reports can be a tremendous benefit to anyone who rents, especially if you don't have much credit.  It's a great way to build a good credit score if you don't want to have credit cards or a car loan.

Rent paid on or before the 1st of the month is on time.  And even though there may be not late fee until the 5th, it still gets reported as late after the first.

A positive rental payment history is valuable, and we want to provide our residents with this chance to get credit for their on-time rental payments.

This is no cost to you and is included automatically when you stay with us.
This is how it is reported.
